Why this course?
The summer camp teenagers have just left the camp location and now 23 international guests arrive. From 6 till 13 August there is organised a TLT (teamleadertraining). This couse is a follow up trainnig which follows the basic- and leadership training. There is a logical structure in the build up of this courses, as the terms alraedy suggests. The Basic course is mainly ment for teenagers who have chosen to follw Christ and who want to tell others about Him. The Leadership training, offers except practical issues, more theoretic basic principles of Youngstarwork. Finally the Teamleader trainig educates to conduct and lead a team.

Who are the participants?
The participants are from diverent countries all accross Europe. They are youth leaders which are experienced in working with children and teenagers. They are often leaders of a Youngstar club or youngstar camp. This is what makes this course very interesting. You will exchange all kind of youth work experiences with each other, what does work and what doesn’t.

What are they learning on this course?
As future leaders they have to know how to plan and organize all the activities, how to motivate and conduct the team and how to do all this under the leading strength of the Holy Spirit and in owe to God. Examples of practical elements of this course are: the making of a realistic budget, learn to get the right licences and go the right authorities, how to be ensured of the security of your activity, teenagers and team. Of course will be a great deal of the course attend to the ‘why’ of this work: why are the participants participating and how can God use them for his Cause as a servant of Him?
